Three-time Olympic medalist Guenter Seidel boasts a Team Bronze from each of the last three Olympic Games, including the 2004 Games in Athens. Among his many impressive performances, in 2002 Guenter and his mount, Nikolaus 7, were part of the U.S. dressage squad that made history at the World Equestrian Games in Spain by winning the Team Silver medal, the best finish ever for a U.S. dressage team in any world championship or Olympic Games. As members of the 2006 World Equestrian Games U.S. Dressage team, Guenter and Aragon performed elegantly to help win the Team Bronze medal. Guenter was also awarded the Whitney Stone Cup by the United States Equestrian Team in 2002, an award for a distinguished record in international competition while also serving as an ambassador for equestrian sports.
"It would have been impossible to reach my goals and be so successful without the strong support from the USET Foundation. I will always be thankful to all the supporters of the Foundation to give me the opportunity to compete for the United States and make my dreams come true."
