Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue Training

Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue Clinic - training participants will be taught how to safely prepare for and approach large animal incidents ie:overturned trailers, large animals loose on the road, stuck in swimming pools or mud, tangled in farm equipment, barn fires. Program will also cover incidents where people are trapped with the animals. Course will combine classroom instruction and hands on labortatory work as a team. Laboratory will includes live animal handling.
Course will feature Tomas Gimenez, Dr. Med. Vet who has provided certificate training courses in TLAER for 10 years to emergency responders nationwide. Also featured will be Rebecca M. Gimenez, Ph.D who is a Major in the US Army Signal Corps. She has been a large animal emergency rescue instructor for the past 10 years and is an active member of the National Disaster Medical Shystem, National Veterinary Response Teams and the Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society.

Sharing Village "Driving for Surviving" Benefit Event

Driving for Surviving is a pediatric oncology program designed to meet the needs of children who have experienced a diagnosis of cancer. The program utilizes borrowed and rescued horses and ponies. The benefit is held annually at the USET Foundation to raise funds for the program. During the Benefit these young survivors perform an exhibition in the Dick and Jane Brown Dressage Arena.
